This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class size is small, but our sensory input is high. We are a small class for students with disabilities that are working on controlling their emotions and behaviors. Our students each have different sensory inputs and needs in order to help calm their little bodies. Having readily accessible materials and equipment such as a sensory chair or board that can help give the students the different sensory input that they may need throughout the day. I love finding different tools that work for our students and ones that they can use independently. Sensory items work wonders in our classroom.
