We currently are 20 students strong. We are at a Title I school. Throughout the day, we work on math, writing, science, and reading. We love our class pet lizard and we are very excited to see new changes in our classroom. Our favorite snacks include cheese balls, pretzels and goldfish. We love to dance, count, and sing. We have two age groups in our classroom the P3's who are our 3 year old's and our P4's which are our 4 year-olds. Our P4's are a huge help in teaching our younger students how to become successful in their new environment. Some examples include encouraging our P3's to stay in line, sit criss cross applesauce at the carpet, and to help find where our toys belong.
We look forward to making our classroom a second home.
We have started to do this by gaining a class pet, plants, a rug by our guided reading area, more books, and hopefully many items to come in order to make our classroom a fun and safe place to be!
Help give our classroom a sensory water and sand table. Students absolutely love playing with all the different items that can be placed inside.
Not only can children develop better fine motor control but they can also practice letters, numbers, or sight words that can be placed inside with whatever you put in.
"There’s no end to the fun kids can have with our spacious sand and water table! Made of all-weather plastic, our rugged, school-quality table features 4 locking casters, so it’s a cinch to move indoors and out…plus rounded edges to keep kids safe as they play. It also features a plug for easy draining, a lightweight plastic liner that lifts right out for cleaning, plus a handy top to cover the table when not in use."
