This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I plan to start a sensory room in my school for the kids in need and for kids who just need a break. We are new to getting kids with autism and will keep getting more so I wanted to prepare a room for kids who just need time to be alone and relax and then go back to class, just to make their school experience more comfortable and exciting. Any donations would be amazing for the kids this year and the ones who come after. Teachers and the kids will be excited to enjoy and welcome this sensory room!
