My Project

Our classroom sensory table needs engaging materials. Sensory bins provide the opportunity to explore and learn through hands on tactile play that engages the senses. It allows for fine motor practice through increase hand strength and developing hand grasp as students scoop, dig, and pour. The materials will help engage my students in their cognitive learning by having the opportunity to learn through exploration and play. I plan on using the sensory items to allow my students to practice color matching, alphabet knowledge, and number knowledge by learning through play. These materials will benefit my students every day.
