My Project

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, I am seeing more three year old children than ever in my preschool classroom with sensory needs. Some are easily overstimulated by the school environment and need materials to help them calm down and self-regulate. Others are constantly seeking more input and need safe objects to touch and explore.

I've tried creating sensory items myself but they don't hold up well- the items on this list are designed to withstand multiple uses!

Children can touch, push, stretch, and retreat inside of these sensory supports when they need to.
