Sensory Needs for Special Education Pre-K Students

Help me give my students sensory materials to use during gross motor play.

My Project

ALL Preschool students learn through exploration of materials through play. The students in our room leave through sensory exploration of materials. The addition of these sensory materials for gross motor and large group instruction will help children to learn in their preferred way. We can utilize these materials to foster connection with staff, regulation strategies, meeting of sensory needs prior to large group and for fidgets during instruction. These materials will aide in improving my students educational experience and help to increase interactions with peers and staff. The use of these materials provide organic opportunities for requesting materials from adults.
