Help me give my students sensory toys with the Rainbow Liquid Sensory Viewers, manipulative materials to aid them in leveling up with Early Language Activity Boxes, and combining both activities with Sensory Noodles.
My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to obtain their goals! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
My students are working hard on articulation, fluency, language, and reading skills.
They are located in Hennessey, Oklahoma, and range in age from Pre-K through 6th grade.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, learning options and I'm striving to provide a more visually engaging learning environment in order to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a group of learners that are excited and ready to learn!
My Project
My students need these new materials to take the next step towards meeting their goals. These materials will provide that new spark in their learning. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interests of my students. Students in my classroom have special needs and love to have hands-on activities that relate to their learning goals. My school has access to print items but my students respond best with manipulatives.
Some of my special needs students need hands-on and concrete items in order to better understand basic concepts.
These students learn and work better with objects and activities. Helping students begin to learn basic concepts is fun and using objects instead of pictures is a perfect way to build better concepts. My students will love getting their hands on these "toys" they won't even realize they're learning!
