My Students

In a small community, just miles from the Canada border, is a small school. Where students are full of smile and readiness to learn. Our kids are a wonderful bunch of characters with a variety of sensory and academic needs. Our classroom provides special education to the student of various abilities, ranging from autism spectrum disorder to reading and math assistance. One of our students is wheelchair-bound. Our class is full of laughter and fun! The students are always smiling and ready to learn.

My Project

These items will be used to enhance sensory and educational learning. Some of our students are very musical and enjoy music time with their friends which increases their attention and focus. Other students use manipulatives to enhance their learning visually, as well as allowing them to have hands-on experiences. Many of these items will be used during a social group,, an area where many of these students need the most help. Music has a way of bringing people together, and this is true for our students as well. These students will be very appreciative of any and everything they get, and we thank you for considering our project.
