My Project

In our Kindergarten classroom, we nurture the whole child by using hands-on activities such as sorting by color, shape, and number with developmentally appropriate tools that focus on grasp/grip, balance and concentration to develop fine motor skills.

These manipulatives incorporate practical life skills, such as pouring, sorting, and stacking, which are essential for their overall development.

Having a variety of options for students to work with on their own or with a partner, encourages creativity, problem-solving, spatial awareness, critical thinking skills, and imagination. This also allows children to explore their own ideas and solutions.
