My preschool students are classified with Individualized Education Programs (IEP). They love hands-on activities and learning through play. These kiddos are loving and full of energy. These students need early, meaningful experiences to help kick-start their educational foundation. The foundation of this classroom is based on the individual needs of each of my students. These students have significant needs in the areas of communication and language, social skills, and academics. Through structured routines and repetition, my students experience success and will make a difference in the world! Our classroom size has grown throughout the year, and we are capped at 15 students, all with significant strengths and areas of need.
My Project
These materials in this project will be put to great use in my classroom! With these materials, we will be able to enhance our language skills with our prepositional words resource box, increase our fine motor skills with motor links, a ball tower, and vehicles, and integrate sensory experiences with touch and feel capsules! These exciting materials will help my students continue to enhance early developmental skills. We utilize materials and activities like these daily in my classroom, and they are essential to our development and growth toward our academic, social-emotional, and functional goals. We hope to have another project funded through the wonderful support of donors and the Donors Choose company!
