My classroom is comprised of 3-5-year-old explorers, many who are on the Autism Spectrum or with other special needs.
Our students are bright, loving and inquisitive, learners.
Our students need materials to support their language, communication, social-emotional, fine and gross motor, and pre-academic development. With new and exciting materials, we can make learning fun!
My Project
Help us bring sensory exploration into our classroom. Our students are busy learners who are looking for more sensory opportunities in their classroom.
Sensory play is an inclusive way to support our students cognitive and language development, fine and gross motor skills, and much more.
The Deluxe Sand or Water Play Table will be a multipurposed learning tool that will support our students learning for years to come. For example, while one student explores cause and effect through pouring and dumping water, while another student will be learning that some objects float while other sink. This created multiple sensory learning opportunities with one play table.
The Super Safe-Froggy Jumper will be used as a sensory and self-regulating tool for our students. Many of our students use jumping as a gross motor movement to self-regulate, a trampoline will safely support these needs. Please help us provide the materials needed to make sensory and self-regulation fun in our classroom.
