Sensory Discovery in Pre-K!

Help me give my students a new hands-on sensory station that will provide opportunities to work and explore together. My students are sensory seekers and would love using a discovery tray!

My Project

The students in my inclusion classroom are sensory seekers and have unique sensory needs! The sensory discovery tray and hands-on sensory items would provide a wonderful new learning center for our classroom. Students could explore early learning concepts and the discovery tray would be the perfect sensory foundation that we can build on throughout our year.

Sensory play can support so many different areas in our classroom such as language development, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction!

This center would allow my students to have hands-on learning experiences in a variety of ways no matter their ability level. This would also help give students the chance to practice their speech and language skills while problem solving with classmates. This project would really benefit our entire classroom community.
