My students need sensory stimulation to finish their assignments. These fidgets, bands, and squishy balls will keep their feet and hands busy so their minds can focus.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
There are so many bright and intelligent students who cannot concentrate on the lesson or complete assignments. Their bodies are so active that their minds cannot focus on lessons. Using squishy balls and foot bands will allow them movement with minimal classroom interruptions.
Just like other schools our school is dealing with the effects of budgets cuts.
We serve low income students with a variety of special needs. Each child is unique in his or her own way and requires different methods of teaching and stimulation in order to stay focused and on task.
My Project
These resources are critical to my students success. The request is for sensory stimulating materials that will engage the students senses targeting the constant need for sensory stimulation. With these materials the student will be able to fidget with tools and objects around him that will be less distracting and harmful to the other students in the class; therefore enhancing the learning experience for all the students in the class.
These materials and resources will foster a positive learning environment for all the students in the class.
It will provide materials that will engage the student's sensory needs, allowing his mind to focus on lessons and assignments.
