I am teaching enthusiastic kindergarten students. Some of my students come from low-income families and some speak two languages. They are eager to learn and are excited when they master skills. The students benefit from hands-on learning experiences. As a kindergarten teacher, I am working hard to encourage parent involvement within our school. We are trying to build a community where parents and teachers work together to benefit each and every child. My goal is to let kindergarten be the launching point for their academic careers.
My Project
Sensory bins are a great way for students to strengthen their fine motor skills. By strengthening these skills, students to be able to write and cut better in class.
Kindergarteners love to explore different textures!
The different materials in the sensory bins will provide students with a sensory experience that will be engaging and stimulating.
Students will also be working on language and social skills by working together on different sensory bin experiences. They can talk about how the different textures feel and the objects they found in the sensory bin.
