Help me give my students the final component for the Augmented Reality Sandbox. The Kinect is the sensor that senses the movement of the sand and relays it back to the monitor to change the image shown.
This project expired on July 5, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students love hands-on activities that provide engaging learning. My students love labs and activities that allow them to interact with other students. They love game-based activities.
What makes my students special is that they are not afraid to learn new things.
They are eager to explore and create new experiences. When given opportunities to explore and move around the classroom they take full advantage of it and learn to the fullest.
I love the enthusiasm my students show toward learning.
We have all other parts to build a augmented reality sandbox except the Kinect for Windows. With this we will be able to run the visual aspect of the sandbox.
With this project I am hoping to give the students the tools they will need to learn in a different way.
With a technology based hands on learning tool that will provide a way for creativity to prosper.
I am excited for this project to be created and to be running. The students have gotten a taste of what is yet to come and cannot wait to get started. They are eager and ready to learn.
