My Students

Our elementary school is a Title I school, but the students perform at the top of the whole school district. Even though a high percentage of students come from lower socioeconomic households, they strive to read better, score higher, be deep thinkers, and serve others around them.

Many students struggle with adversity at home, not enough money for their family to support their daily needs, low parental support, and emotional issues.

They are dealing with real world problems, but are stepping up to the challenges by giving their best efforts to improve their minds and themselves to be able to face any issue head on.

We have been blessed the last few years to have Chromebooks for each student. We use them daily for higher learning and engaging math, language arts, writing, reading, and science programs. We are able to learn about many things outside our community and explore the world.

My Project

We use white boards and markers every day. We need more white board markers. I have 7 special needs students in my class. I need to purchase cushions and other things to help these students to focus. We also have students who are constantly quarantined. I need to purchase Teacher Pay Teachers materials to be able to provide online instructions. With these supplies my students will better be able to focus, practice math problems and thrive whether quarantined or at school. My students deserve all of the help they can get.
