My students need glue sticks and ink pads in order to complete daily learning activities in our classroom. The Magnatabs will help greatly with letter formation all year.
Each and every day I encourage my students to do their personal best. Our classroom motto is, "It's okay not to know, but it's not okay not to try." They are each strong and independent learners, as a teacher it is my job to provide them with educational opportunities that allow them to thrive.
Despite the fact that many of them are five, turning six they are always ready to learn and they themselves, have a lot of great ideas.
I teach at a small rural school within a very close knit community. Many of my students knew each other prior to entering kindergarten and are very positive and uplifting towards one another, always wanting what is best for their peers.
My Project
It is the start of a brand new school year and with that comes many exciting ideas, experiences and opportunities for my students! Over the summer I spent time researching creative ways to teach my students our curriculum, I was very successful at finding ideas that I feel my students will love! In order to carry out these ideas and offer them to my students there are a few materials I am requesting. For example the Magna Tabs will be a great way to reinforce correct letter formation during word work time. The United States blocks will be a great visual for the students when they are learning all about America during our kindergarten year. The ink pads and glue sticks are materials we use daily in a variety of learning tasks.
