My Project

This project would fund sensory materials that would be used to support different areas of learning for my special needs students. My students learn best through exploration. The materials requested for this project will help ease their anxieties when it comes to learning.

The kinetic sand will be used with other sensory tools to create bins with themes to enhance what they learn as well as how they learn.

They will be able to uncover the hidden treasures buried just beneath the sand which I expect will generate questions and a conversation about their new discovery. The water beads and fidget toys will also help to release nervous energy and calm students.
