It’s difficult to describe my class in two paragraphs. So many characters, so many personalities, so many wonderful little minds learning more and more each day, striving to read, write, and learn their numbers.
Although a few of these students face some hardships at home, they come to school and are eager to learn.
With young fives being the start of their schooling experience, I strive to make it a positive and nurturing one. As my students will tell you, I am educating our future doctors, police officers, coffee shop owners, presidents of the United States, and teachers. My classroom is full of potential and hope.
My Project
We have a new sensory table in our classroom that we were blessed to have funded through DonorsChoose. Now we are working on getting items to fill our sensory table!
We need items to make our sensory tub sensational.
With a variety of items, we can switch up themes in our sensory tub more frequently to keep the excitement and curiosity alive.
When we have water in our sensory tub students will be able to create and explore with the design and build water blocks and the fine motor scissor scoops. Sensory play materials will be fillers in our sensory tub for numerous themes. Build-A-Bouquet will allow students to express their creativity when we learn about plants in the Spring.
