My Students

My students are energetic and curious five year olds who love to have new experiences! We are eager to learn new things and then show what we know. My students have so much to learn about letters, sounds, numbers, science, and social studies. We love interacting with music by singing and dancing. Technology is one of our biggest interests! We like to get our hands on toys and manipulatives to practice what we are learning and that can help enhance our learning.

My Project

Many of my students need to wiggle or move while learning. The flexible seating will help them focus while completing their work and listening during lessons. A variety of choices is optimal because each student has unique needs.

I have several students with Autism or sensory issues.

The sensory balls, beads, and rings will give them choices while still providing a calming object to hold. These materials will be used in our calm down area where students go to calm down from their big feels or when they feel overwhelmed with the day. Mental Health is a priority for us!
