This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Supporting and donating, to our sensory garden needs, will make a significant difference in the lives of my special education students for several reasons.

Many children often face unique challenges, and a sensory garden can provide a tailored and therapeutic environment that caters to their specific needs.

Here are three goals that highlight the importance of a sensory garden for my students: It will enhance sensory experiences and integration skills, develop social and emotional skills through a therapeutic setting, improve academic engagement and learning outcomes, and develop and improve physical and motor skills.

This investment includes a new storage cabinet, gardening tools, a bench, a birdbath, bird feeders, and other neat essentials. The garden can result in improved well-being, enhanced social interactions, increased academic engagement, and the development of essential life skills for my students.
