Help me give my students seating options that will allow them to focus while we learn.
My students are full of energy and so much potential! My goal is to harness that energy to unleash the potential. By providing my students with seating accessories that can contain their fidgeting and wiggling, I think my students will be able to focus better during lessons. My classroom is a dynamic one, and providing these accommodations will help students interact with even the sedentary activities. Please help us wiggle and move our way to sensory success in sixth grade social studies!
My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment for all of my students. These items will help manage any sensory distractions or needs my students may have while sitting at their desks. The wobble cushions have already proven a huge hit in my room (I purchased two on my own), and the fluorescent light covers will help dim the lights to a more sensory-friendly level. I have already tested using these techniques in my room, and the students have responded so well to my efforts to make the room more sensory-friendly. With these tools, we can dim the lights and travel back through history in comfort.
