Sensational & Essential Classroom Supplies for Kindergarten!

My students need classroom supplies like paint, pens, pencils, paper, markers, and dry erase boards to be able to show off their amazing abilities!

My Students

My Kindergartners are busy and engaged all day long--learning the alphabet, learning to interact with books, learning to work with partners, learning to count, and even figuring out all the stages of a butterfly's life cycle! For many, this is their first school experience. Many come from high poverty homes, and this means that they already have a lot of "catching up" to do in terms of school-readiness skills.

But in spite of the many challenges they face, my Kindergarteners are enthusiastic, cheerful, and so excited to come to school each day.

Our school is an innovative charter school that aims to teach the whole child through its focus on health and wellness. Our students have P.E. everyday and are provided with a healthy school lunch. Our school provides a nurturing environment and our curriculum is rigorous--now we just need some fantastic school supplies so we can get to work!

My Project

My young students are beginning their crucial first year of elementary school--the year that will set them up for success for their entire school career--facing terrible budget cuts!

We need your help to purchase some essential, yet sensational, classroom supplies that will transform this all-important Kindergarten year into one that is filled with powerful learning experiences.

Dry erase markers, for example, allow students to practice basic skills like letters, word families, and numbers in a risk-free, safe and engaging way. My students also become highly motivated to show their thinking on any topic when using dry erase markers on a white board!

The black flair pen is the critical school supply that take my students from just being able to write their names at the beginning of the year to writing 4-5 paragraph persuasive letters by the end of the year! The black ink makes their writing look bold and energetic, while the white mailing labels provide an easy and quick way to fix any mistakes!

We also need art supplies like paint and water color paper so that we can engage our students in deep projects that allow for meaningful ways for our students to show their thinking about a topics ranging from birds and the weather to friendship and identity.

Thank you for your support in making this upcoming school year a rich and wonderful one for my students.
