Senior Awards Sashes!

My Students

Approximately 81% of the students at our school receive free or reduced-price lunches. Many come from low-income areas, live in poverty, or combat homelessness, and we have a high number of military families. There is an amazing group of hard-working young adults in my class. They strive every day to do their best and succeed. Their goals and dreams are to achieve high school diplomas and go to college.

My students take any obstacle in their path head-on and don't let it slow them down.

These students overcome so many different setbacks during their time in school.

My Project

As this school year is quickly flying by, our seniors are preparing for graduation and their lives afterwards. Each year we do a senior awards celebration where students academic, athletic, and extracurricular achievements are celebrated. We also celebrate students who have received scholarships to colleges, heading off to serve in our military branches, and outstanding seniors. When the seniors receive their awards, its a tradition that they also receive their senior sash. I am requesting white and green sashes and heat transfer vinyl to create these sashes for our awards program. After the last couple of years that these students have overcome due to COVID-19, we want to make sure that there awards celebration is special for them this year. With your help, we will be able to provide each of our seniors with their own personalized senior sash for them to display their hard work and achieves with pride.
