Our students come in every day excited to learn something new! They are full of energy and questions. Our small student body is comprised of students from many different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds -- we truly are a melting pot!
The media center is truly the "center" of learning.
Students visit twice a week, once for technology class and once for library. We're on our way to becoming a one-to-one Chromebook school, and dedicated to making our students 21st Century Learners!
The Google Expeditions app uses the bluetooth technology of the phones to connect to the teacher's iPad. The teacher acts as the guide, allowing the entire group to see the same place. Using the prompts on the iPad, the teacher can give information about the place they are seeing, such as Mt. Everest or on an underwater expedition.
By donating to our project, you will be helping our students expand their view of the world.
World Culture is part of our curriculum, and this will help us expand learning in this area by giving them an immersive experience they will remember.
