My Students

Our school is comprised of 625 students. I teach at a Title I school. Through my PE program, I encourage students to be physically active. Our students currently attend Physical Education class every six school days. With a limited number of face to face classes each year, I know the importance of providing quality lessons each and every class. Our Physical Education program provides creative and fun lessons while concentrating on standards-based lessons. Through different lessons, students are encouraged to be physically active for a lifetime.

My Project

This conference is one of the most energetic and career changing conferences. It will provide me with cutting edge standards-based lesson ideas. I will be among many of the leading PE teachers not only in the country but in the world.

The National PE Institute is a conference located in Asheville, NC.

It is a two-day conference where other PE teachers learn from leading presenters.

Our PE program would benefit greatly from my being able to attend this conference in July. I have been able to attend in the past and I have gained so much knowledge to bring back to my school.
