My students are amazing human beings! They are full of life and have endless potential to do so many wonderful things. My school is a Title I school in a poverty-stricken community. Our school receives a grant that allows every child to have free breakfast and lunch served at school due to food insecurities at home. Many of our parents struggle to help meet the needs of school supplies and the needs of their children. Regardless of these circumstances, my students overcome! They are learning how to face challenges and grow stronger academically, socially and emotionally preparing them for the next level of life.
I believe that these students deserve every opportunity this world has to offer and I am determined to help them get it.
These students can change the world with their brilliant minds and can climb out of the cycle of poverty through the gift of education. They will learn that the world is theirs for the taking with hard work, dedication, and knowledge.
I am requesting the opportunity to attend a professional development conference to help improve and innovate my classroom strategies.
The Teach Your Heart Out Conference will allow me to gain new strategies and confidence to implement in my classroom!
The strategies and professional development I will attain from this conference will benefit my students and myself for years to come. The knowledge gained from this unique experience will directly impact the success of my students. The new strategies and ideas I'll learn at this conference will be shared with all the teachers at my school to help benefit other students in various grade levels.
