My Students

I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to teach technology in East Tennessee. I reach all 500 students in our building every single week!

Our school is bounding with diversity, language and culture.

Our students are bright and eager to learn all things technology! Each student in our school comes to technology once a week, and for many it is their favorite class. I work to create a learning environment that is welcoming, enriching, fun, and engaging for these deserving students.

My Project

During this 3-day event, I will have the opportunity to:

-Attend several keynotes presented by leading experts in education and technology integration.

-Choose from 18 breakout sessions in both lecture and workshop format across tracks tailored to our needs on topics bridging technology, curriculum, student growth, ESSA, professional development, and more!

-Network with hundreds of other educators, including Nearpod’s community of edtech leaders, the PioNears.

During this conference, I will learn about:

-The latest in Nearpod functionality and lesson content.

-Best practices for using Nearpod to transform teaching in our own school.

-How other educators are implementing major technology and change initiatives, getting the most out of their technology investments, preparing their students for college and career in the 21st century, creating equity, reaching English Language Learners, developing teachers, and more!
