This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Ninety percent of our amazing students live below or near the poverty line. About 60% of our students are learning English in school. Sometimes our school struggles to get the resources we need to teach and care for our incredible students. This makes the job of a school even more important.

Many students we teach experience poverty, but that's just where they are starting.

Our students love to create art and read. They write computer code and even perform Shakespeare. They have big dreams, and let's help them reach for those dreams!

My Project

It has been a WILD year and a half for schools. That hasn't stopped kids from working hard and building up their reading skills.

With your help, we can create a GORGEOUS LITTLE LIBRARY where kids feel comfortable, safe, and eager to explore the world through books.

My dream is to give kids a cozy reading nook where they can curl up with a good book and get lost in a story. You will be sending us a beautiful bookshelf that looks like a fireplace.
