My Students
My students are passionate, inspiring scholars with creative minds thirsty for knowledge and community engagement.
There is a targeted group of scholars with identified needs with maintaining focus and emotional self-regulation during instruction.
These individuals range in age and grade level and would benefit greatly from this project experience.
My Project
The educational objective of this project is to assist students with social-emotional learning. The intended skill transfer will help students identify their feelings, successfully problem-solve and self-regulate their emotions.
The selected interventions and strategies will empower the mind, body, and emotional connection while supporting instructional learning.
The materials will initially be used in the virtual learning platform and will continue when in-person instruction resumes. The strategies and manipulates selected will support both individual and group activities.
The project materials are intended to reduce class disruption and foster a positive class environment. The intent of this learning experience will broaden the individual skills and character development of each scholar and increase student time on task.
