My Project

My students reside in a semi rural area surrounded by desert beauty while they attend our very small school. While this is wonderful, the students are not afforded the opportunities often found in bigger schools in town. Our school seems to always stay just under the line to obtain Title One funding as well. Some one the students do not have access to the internet at home. Therefore, there modern world technology learning must all happen at school.

The Ipad and correlating items will assist these students to perform self reflection tasks.

This is a powerful way to teach the students how to increase their learning potential. By filmng themselves during different academic tasks, then reviewing the video, the students will get a front row seat to thier actions. This is not only good for academics, but for behaviors as well. This type of reflextion task is used in businesses and by teachers all over the world. So why not begin now with our future leaders?

These items may also be used by the schools writing club for blog posting, the schools social media sites such as twitter and facebook, and by teachers filming morning announcements.
