My Project

The Studio in Art students that I teach are incredibly talented as well as curious. The first half of the year, we have worked very hard on improving our

basic artistic skills such as drawing, sculpting and color mixing.

Now the students are ready to create their own artistic paths.

For the third quarter, the students at my school are proposing artistic projects based on their own research. They can use whatever supplies are in the art room. Therefore, by adding these materials the art supply selection will be more accommodating to all proposed projects.

Students are beyond excited to get creative in the art room and make art that is meaningful to them. By allowing for artistic choice and encouraging the connection to their interests as well as their lives, I do believe these new supplies will only deepen the students love for creating art.
