Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to create a social emotional library of books to support teachers and students in our Pre-Kindergarten to grade 5 school. With these books teachers can have a variety of choices to read to their students. Kids will be able to dive into a story that teachers them about feelings, how to regulate their emotions and bodies, along with how to be kind and caring citizens.

These books will not only support the teachers, but it will support the 300+ students to navigate themselves and this ever-changing world.

I look forward to sharing these amazing stories with teachers and students as we continue through the school year.
