Seeking Literature Books Class Set

My students need Literature books for Language Arts class. I need 14 Level 6th grade and 10 7th grade level to complete my classroom set of these items.

My Students

I work at a local charter school in Florida. I work with the young middle schoolers ages 11-15. These students are children who did not fit into the traditional school setting and seek a different school environment. Students range from high learners to those with IEPS.

This year our 6th grade class is larger than ever with over 30 children falling under the lower level in the state exams.

Coming from all over the district, the students come with a wide range of experience, good and bad. We host the students labeled "behavior issues" and "nerds," along with the spattering of the "popular" kids and "athletes." Most of my students show a willingness to learn and grow in school.

My Project

As our school grows, our resources do not and i have found myself without a class set of literature books. As of now, I have 13 books for each grade level (6th and 7th). I am asking for funding the rest of the class set.

Your generous donations will help me bring these awesome literature books to our next generation.

These are the best books for the job because of the wide range of literature exponents. This will help change the course of a generation whose major source of literature comes from technology. Please help me bring written literature to our preteens.
