As diversity is a challenge it is the goal of the school to provide our students with differentiated instruction and a wide range of curriculum activities that will engage all of our students in a variety of curriculum areas that will hold their interest.
Our school has been on the cutting edge of various new and upcoming educational endeavors and engineering would be another great presence in our school. We pride ourselves in creating an environment that is top notch and on the cutting edge of the needs of our community and the career fields of the whole nation. This project will enhance all of the aspects of my curriculum and those students who are otherwise not interested in traditional learning will be intrigued to be a part of a whole new way of learning science, mathematics, English, art and many other creative areas of learning.
My Project
This new way of coding will open the student's minds up for the 21 century of flying high with drones. The students will use Scratch Software to control the drones and take video of the surroundings below. We have also included a gaming system controller to have a different use for this technology other than a gaming system. With this new technology the students will have the chance to see how their gaming skills can actually be carried on to their business careers. This type of technology is being used by the military, shipping companies, the law enforcement agencies, and forestry companies to say the least. We are excited to use the drone and hope to try them out before the end of this year.
