My Students

My fifth graders are high energy and love learning! They are curious and diverse, interested in the world around them and love having fun while learning! Each day, I strive to help them enjoy learning in an effort to make them lifelong learners. Some days they teach me as much as I teach them! Fifth graders are the best because they are still idealistic about the world, and it is my desire to inspire them to create a wonderful world for all.

My Project

I cannot think of a curriculum area that will not be supported through the use of these 3Doodler pens! In math these pens will help struggling students not only visualize, but create and touch 3d shapes and objects like prisms and pyramids. In our Science and engineering time, students will be able to use these pens to create 3d models of their inventions and prototypes, bringing the engineering design process to life!

While having access to 3D printing pens will have a tremendous impact on all of my students, the difference they will make for my visual learners will be tremendous!

For those students who need to "see" a concept to best comprehend it, the ability to place a 3Doodler in their hands is priceless!
