Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In our world, our classroom, we are a tight-knit group of students. We work hard every day to learn and express who we are. We are made up of 5 academic support students who push in from their special education full time classroom as well as 20 general education students.
We are Hispanic, Caucasian, African, and Asian.
We speak multiple languages and need multiple things to help us get through our day.
We speak the language of acceptance and love, and that is what holds us together. We work hard from the moment we get to school to the moment we leave. It is our goal that we leave every day with brains, bodies, and voices tired from thinking, moving, and speaking about what we are learning.
My Project
Part of learning is being able to see what is being presented. This document camera will allow my students to be able to see pictures in book, math strategy demonstrations, art projects, and so much more. This will strengthen their knowledge in all subject areas.
If seeing is believing, then this camera will make believers out of all my students.
They will truly be able to see their classmates work and learn from each other. With the ability to see each other's learning, their academics will begin to grow, and they will be more well-rounded students and human beings that can appreciate the work of others.
