Help me give my students toner and a document camera. This camera will allow me to project daily work on our smart board, project books for read-alongs, and display student work.
My students are creative and full of questions. I have a classroom with all special needs students and they absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration! Most of my students live in poverty and/or come from low income homes, but you would not know it by their hearts!
My Project
I have a classroom with all special needs students. We call our class the "out of the box" classroom. I have elementary and middle school students. This document scanner will allow us to project daily work and books that were are reading on the smart board.
The best thing you can do with a document camera is project student work on the smart board.
My student's love to have us brag on them. They also love the "Be the Teacher" and this would help them tremendously with confidence. It is also encouraging to their peers when a fellow student gets the opportunity to help!
I also added two laser ink cartridges. I print coloring pages for my students and various projects in my classroom. I use one ink cartridge per month during the school year.
