Help me give my students the best co-teaching support and experience by having the supplies to be able to give small group teaching and dry erase supplies for practice. My students will benefit from tangible and visual learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a Special Education Co-Teacher for over 160 students that I serve. I float to four different classrooms in different grade levels.
What I love most about being able to co-teach is getting to work with every different grade level.
I love to see how the age difference in my students evolves over the years and, in turn, how they are molded into responsible young adults. Like any other teacher, I get to work alongside a multitude of learning levels as well. I have students that inspire me to work extra hard to find what it is that will help them succeed. I also have students that work way beyond my expectations and still push me to find more for them to explore and learn with.
Being a Special Education teacher in a co-teach setting gives me the opportunity to also create a community among all our students, no student of mine will be singled out. I love to integrate and point out every students' strengths and use them to improve their learning. Every single student of mine is special in a sense that they are the pieces to the puzzle and every individual has an important role.
My Project
As a co-teacher, I get to work with students with learning disabilities that require them to be taught with accommodations that will benefit their learning. Small group learning, an accommodation, with the right supplies will be extra beneficial for all my students. With the dry erase boards and sleeves, they will be able to practice formulas as I model the correct way to fill them out for them. The pencil grippers are a need that we sometimes overlook in high school, but I have many students that would greatly benefit from them too. I am looking forward to using the easel for small group learning to be able to teach more than one struggling student at a time. The magnetic atom model would be a perfect visual to use with my students so they can better understand the atom structure.
