My students need this anchor chart stand so that our visual learners can access important information. A document camera will allow our students to see one another's work so that we can have enriching discussions.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our students are energetic and eager to learn as many new things as possible. In our third grade grade inclusion classroom some students are working close to grade level, while some are working two to three grade levels below third grade. Some students are considered general education students and others have individual education plans (IEPs). Our students recognize that students in our room have different abilities and different learning potentials but if we follow the common classroom expectation to try our absolute best, we will have academic and social growth!
My Project
The anchor chart stand and the document camera will provide our visual learners with rigorous access to important resources in our classroom that will provide them with success in our classroom. The document camera will give students the opportunity to share their own work with the class and lead powerful discussions about their thought process.
The document camera allows for students to see in the moment work being completed, providing the visual support for students to become independent learners.
Additionally, the document camera is a great way to showcase excellent student work; allowing students to learn from the wonderful work their fellow classmates are doing!
