My Project

My students are 8th graders who are trying to prepare themselves for high school. With a small and obsolete TV that I currently have in my classroom, not everyone can clearly see the screen whenever I do my presentation.

My students love very much to explore and to learn things beyond the walls of my classroom.

I teach 8th grade math and middle school Algebra for regular school; I also teach chess before school and after school. I have about 40 kids learning chess before school and after school. I have about 80 students during regular school, learning math and Algebra and getting ready for high school.

I would love to always make my visual lesson presentation great and worth watching, so that everyone can enjoy learning and cherish always the lesson.

I have many talented, well-disciplined and smart students. Though they belong to low income households (and others in foster care), I just want to take advantage of this time when I am their teacher, that I will be able to impart into their hearts and minds not just life's values about math, not just about chess (it being life itself as I've always told them), but also about the intricacies of life and the need for each one of them to reflect within themselves the need to share and care for others in order to make this world a better place to live.

I am therefore seeking help to make my students see better and clearer through a smart TV that will allow them to explore beyond the four walls of my classroom, and to be able to think deeper. With a wall-mounted smart TV, I want them to realize that to see is indeed to believe. And to believe is to enjoy life fully well.
