My students are very curious students and love to do hands-on-projects. They ask a lot of questions and want to learn more about their world. Science is a great topic that promotes critical thinking, exploration and experimentation. My students will be able to see, wonder and think about various science topics and areas of interest. I would like them to seek out their own explanations and inquire about the weather system, animals, rocks and minerals, etc. There are so many topics that my students can learn about. This is a great project for them to experience. It will enable them to observe, inquire and explore their world more effectively.
The students will be able to view actual cells under the microscope. They will see the organisms and learn about plant and animal cells in depth. This project will enable the students to act like a real scientist. They will be able to observe, use critical thinking and wonder about the various aspects of Science. The students will be able to use microscopes, computers and texts during this lesson.
It will help so much if we have the laboratory slides to use in this project.
The students will be able to distinguish between the plant and animal cells. It will be a fun and exciting experience to view the cells. The students will be able to learn more about what cells look like and their importance in helping them to run, jump and move around.
We are made up of cells. My students will know that they help us to live in this amazing world.
