My Students
My students are inquisitive, caring, and determined to further their learning in the classroom. They benefit from hands on activities, and love to explore and create independently. I teach in an early childhood classroom with students with a variety of disabilities.
My students are eager to learn and challenge themselves in play based learning activities.
Through play based activities, my students are able to work on their foundational academic skills as well as social skills that are necessary for their future.
My Project
Through the use of hands on activities my students are given a great experience in the classroom that is engaging and fun! Students in my classroom benefit from play based learning, and could greatly benefit from a light cube in the classroom.
With a light cube, my students with visual impairments are able to explore with items they may not normally have access to.
With the accessories we will be able to paint, build, and explore transparent and opaque objects. The counting and letter activities will provide access to foundational learning skills in a nontraditional manner. The donations to this project will help increase my students' ability to access our curriculum in a fun and engaging way.
