Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are Rock Stars! They are in the Dual Language Program in Kindergarten and are coming to school excited and eager to learn. My school is the top ranking ELL (English Language Learner), ESE (Exceptional Student Education), and students with free or reduced rate lunch school in the district.

We are in desperate need of a new classroom printer.

This color printer will allow me to make class sets of instructional materials to help make learning attractive, invigorating and fun. In addition, I will be able to print color copies of take-home books for students, as well as use colorful activities for their literacy and math centers. The color copies will allow students to better analyze the pictures to help decode the words on the page for the books.
