My Students

My students are bundles of energy that are so eager to learn every day. They are always asking what and how. They are curious about a variety of topics and information.

They face some challenges such as single parent homes, first generation English speakers, 97% free/reduced-price lunch, living with relatives, low parent involvement, and most have no access to technology.

Over half of the students are reading below grade level and many of them are English language learners. Even with all these challenges, my students are eager, motivated, and ready to learn.

My Project

Please help me give my students science activities to explore touch and sight. Every year my students struggle with the 5 senses. These labs will help my little learners explore touch, sound, and sight in a new way.

My firsties are curious about the world around them.

They love anything to do with science and especially if they can touch it. The touch, sound, and sight labs will allow my students to learn while doing the hands on activity. They will also enjoy using the view finder to learn about animals and animal habitats.
