I work with a variety of gifted and talented students throughout my district. Though most of these students are from low income/high poverty areas, they are excited to come to school. These students love to learn and explore. I want to provide my students with materials to help feed and continue their passion for learning.
These talented students have tremendous interest in experimenting and enjoy a wide range of interests.
I work with gifted children in grade 3-5, they are rapid learners and have high memory retention. They love to work on service projects and give back to their community.
My Project
With this HP Laser Jet Printer, my students will get to see their digital projects brought to life. In my classroom, students create digital power points and brochures, but are only able to see them printed in black and white. We want to bring learning to life with color by like to creating colorful, educational brochures for our community that involve projects we are working on. Currently we are testing our local waterways, and we would like to share this information in an eye catching way.
In education, color printing has been shown to increase engagement and comprehension.
Color printing makes the curriculum we are learning about memorable. Students will be able to focus on the content they are investigating and educate other students along the way.
