Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing. They have made it through the pandemic with a positive and hopeful perspective on life. To many of them, coming back to school full time has been both exciting and nerve wracking. Their perseverance through this major life shift has been awe inspiring.

My Project

The printer will be used to help students understand important political information like graphs, charts, and maps by seeing them in color. This will help all students, especially my students with learning disabilities and English Language Learners.

Seeing the information on their desk, up close, and in color will greatly impact their understanding.

Sometimes information like data on maps can be so difficult to understand in black and white. Helping students adjust to in person learning can be difficult enough. My goal is to make the content easier and accessible to all students.
