My Students

We are located in an extremely overcrowded elementary school in New York. We work very hard and appreciate learning through laughter, fun, and play. It is a long school day when all we do is sit in our seats and work.

You often hear an explosion of laughter coming from my classroom.

Second grade is an awesome place for any child to be. I am a second grade teacher for a very eager and excitable group of children. I am truly a lucky teacher.

My Project

My students are a delightful group of children who are always ready, willing and able to explore any subject. At this moment, our explorations are limited to our computers. I want to take their education to another level.

Google Expeditions will allow my students to become a part of their studies.They will be able to experience swimming with sharks or visiting outer space.

Imagine being able to tour famous museums in other countries. It's one thing to talk about the Mona Lisa but quite another to actually virtually walk into the Louvre and up to the painting.

Google Expedition is capable of taking my children on over 500 class trips, all without leaving our classroom. This is fantastic as many of my children can not afford to go on our class trips. Now everyone can be included and share the same experiences.
