This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My amazing kids are empatheitic, kind, and brilliant. We are a school family and that loving bond is shared throughout our school and in each individual class family.

We work everyday to make sure that our kids know without a doubt that they are safe, they are loved, and together as a school family there is nothing that will stop our success!

The self- confidence that we are empowering our students with will ensure they are able to do anything they put their minds to.

My Project

The materials that I have chosen will enable my students to use their creativity and curiosity to explore and build their own creations while learning fundamental engineering/science concepts. The simple machines pack will allow every student to have the opportunity. It will also allow my early finisher students to have the chance to practice the concepts that they are most interested in

I know that my students have had little to no exposure to engineering and building concepts due to the cost of the materials that are needed to enhance their learning.They are very curious 7 and 8 year olds.
