Our class consists of twenty-two eager students that enjoy learning. We are located in Nebraska and are proud to be part of the public schools. We are a suburban school that does not receive funding from other programs, like Title I for example, which makes our school budget tight.
Despite being in a suburban school, our students come from a variety of backgrounds.
There are students with family serving in the military, students who are English language learners, students with special needs and many more. We are a diverse group of learners.
My Project
My second graders are off to a great start this new school year! We have been working hard every day since the first day of school. With the start of a new school year, a lot of basic classroom supplies are necessary to have for daily use. We are still missing a few key items to continue to be productive. We are in need of pocket folders, paper, pencils, crayons and highlighters to use with everyday assignments. The folders will be used to store papers in our desk while not in use. The white paper will be used during writer's workshop to make books with. The pencils, crayons and highlighters will be used in all subject areas as we independently work on our assignments.
